These were my first, and definitely not my last, pair of Chaco's! I bought them to have a functional shoe for a summer European backpacking trip. They were amazing through days of trekking in the Alps to the cobble stone streets of old cities. While they are a slip on, they always felt secure and held up to long hike days.

These were my first pair of Chaco's and they were everything I expected and so much more! They traveled with me to Europe, held up at Lollapaloza, flew off a jet ski (they float), went sailing, and kept my feet and legs feeling great through my everyday activities. I can't think of a warm weather activity that they are not perfect for. Though slip-ons they stay on your foot well.

I was a little hesitant at first to spend $75.00 on a pair of "flip flops", but they are so much more than that. I wear them all day, everyday during the summer and they don't make my feet hurt like the other brands $25.00 flip flops. I have worn them on every type of surface from pavement to sand to gravel. They are comfortable to wear all day long and have a great arch support. I do not recommend wearing them in water however. Even when they are pulled as tight as they go and felt like they definitely weren't going anywhere, they still slipped off easily in the water (river and lake). Great for any non-water activity, even going for walks.
